Has anybody watched the 2nd series of 'The Traitors' on BBC1 / iPlayer tonight?

I really, really liked the 1st series last year - so much so that I also watched the US & Australian versions on iPlayer to ease withdrawal symptoms when it finished šŸ˜‚.

Another obsession is about to start I think.......

Just a thought……..though I may be way off……… do Charlotte and Harry look alike? Could they be related?
Is this program getting me devious too? šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

There is speculation over the two blonde ladies Charlie and Evie being sisters. But I said right at the beginning I think Charlie and Mollie are sisters and you can see how alike they are when you look at them. The clue is they are both from Bristol!

I'm amazed none of the contestants haven't mentioned it....although of course maybe they have.

So happy that Paul’s gone, I thought Jaz for the chop. Don’t mind if Harry wins. This ā€œgameā€ doesn’t actually bring out the best in people.

Aveline Fri 19-Jan-24 06:47:27

Phew! I can stop watching now.

Faierynan Fri 19-Jan-24 06:30:09

Postpone: I'm sure this is how you are supposed to play the game. Paul would have turned on Harry given the chance

BlueBelle Fri 19-Jan-24 05:05:44

If you watch BBC2 afterwards Paul was quite on a high after coming out and still believes he has taught Harry the trade !! Up his own axxx for sure

šŸŽ‰šŸ„³šŸ˜„šŸ‘ Yaaaaaay Paul has gone šŸ˜„šŸŽ‰šŸ„³šŸ‘.
I wonder what his colleagues and friends reaction to him will be after his behaviour?

I know the show was filmed months ago, but his colleagues, etc will only have seen his TV performance for the last couple of weeks.

As I said before, Charlotte spreads inaccurate information about what people have said, which affects other people's opinions. For that reason I don't like her and think she is dangerous. I have a thing about people who go round telling lies about others, whether deliberate or not.

In this instance she caused Harry to turn on Paul which is not actually a bad thing because they were both traitors, but she didn't know that. She is a very inaccurate source of information, but people don't realise that and probably believe her.

So he’s gone Harry’s really got his knife out and is strategic in thinking out thought Paul that’s fr sure and poor Andrew makes the worst traitor ever

aquagran Thu 18-Jan-24 22:38:14

Yahooooooo

Farzanah Thu 18-Jan-24 13:14:01

If Zac joins them it will further damage the Faithfuls chances and Paul will be in his element, he’s very plausible……unfortunately.
I loved the ā€œfuneralā€ but good job Diane didn’t seem to be claustrophobic.

dogsmother Thu 18-Jan-24 13:06:17

Harry is improving in my eyes, however Paul has done himself no favours at all in the public eye……not a good person. Can’t wait to see who they have invited along it should be very interesting because this is Harry’s time now.

I'm not sure if it really is worse but Paul is definitely rather unsavoury in my opinion. I suspect he is like this "in real life" whereas most do at least have qualms I do not see this in him, unfortunately.

aquagran Thu 18-Jan-24 10:58:03

Aveline …me too! me too!
This series is much more venomous ( no doubt someone will pick me up on that word!) than the last one!

Aveline Thu 18-Jan-24 10:09:30

I just want to cut to Paul's speech when he's voted out!

shysal Thu 18-Jan-24 09:41:48

Wow! I really enjoyed last night's episode!

Recent ā€˜murders’ have all been women. I sit and mutter mysoginsts or maybe it’s really women are the bigger threat.

Personally I thoroughly dislike Paul and truly don’t understand why more people aren’t wary of him. Thinking about his professional life I can’t see anyone watching the programme trusting him. Or maybe he’ll have a change of career and become an actor.

Harry might find Paul manoeuvres people into voting him out, he’s too great a threat.

Whatever happens we’ll keep watching, I find the interaction between the individuals fascinating while appreciating we don’t see the whole picture - any more than the players do.

Harry is playing a wonderful game with some very clever moves whilst seeming to be so innocent. He deserves to win and I think he will if he keeps being so convincing.

Paul made a very clever move in eliminating Miles, and some of the more dopey ones are now convinced he is a faithful. He was lapping it up when they all snuggled up to him on the sofa.

Claudia warned them about crocodile tears and sure enough Paul was sobbing at the table tonight.

Jaz was very quiet. I'm still hoping he and Zack will be able to take Paul down before the final. The girls seem very bland and no threat to anyone so they will probably make the final.

YorkLady Wed 17-Jan-24 23:12:20

I really want Harry to win. He’s so devious and so good!
Amazing TV 😁

BlueBelle Wed 17-Jan-24 22:34:45

I don’t actually think Paul is playing a blinder I think Harry is much cooler and working things out better and is ahead of the horrid Paul who would make a good ā€˜boo hiss’ actor
Hoping Paul goes out next

nanaK54 Wed 17-Jan-24 22:21:15

I reckon his days are numbered

merlotgran Wed 17-Jan-24 22:14:03

He’s a psychopath! 😮😮

RosiesMaw Wed 17-Jan-24 21:48:45

Nooooooo!
Paul is playing a blinder!
If I encountered him in my professional life I would not trust him as far as I could throw him.

I understand Paul is in "management" - if so thank goodness nobody I care about is "managed" by him!

I would be wary of him as an employee too... And would not trust him.

I agree NotSpaghetti šŸ‘.

He is coming across as probably being a sociopath in real life!
He is completely self absorbed and dillusional about his self importance.
