Anyone else watching this, on Drama, 8.00pm on Thursday night?

Starring Greta Scaatchi and Bryan Brown.

Bit of a cross between Miss Marple and Rosemary and Thyme.

Gorgeous Australian scenery though.

Always had a soft spot for Bryan Brown, since tv versions of A Town Like Alice and The Thornbirds.

I couldn’t remember how the last series ended, but it sort of came back to me throughout the programme.

They always seem to land on their feet, finding a welcoming place to stay, with beautiful scenery, and lovely food and wine served.

Plus they are then able to sort out their hosts problems within a day or two of meeting them.

Leaving D&J off to pursue their own investigations.

Easy watching.

I watched one episode, but it was very depressing seeing Bryan Brown looking so old. I always think of him as that dashing young Australian!

Nah, he just looks.... experienced :-)

An experienced older Australian! 😁

Our TV is playing up. It would.

The picture is fragmenting but I can recognise the scenery, we spent a holiday up there! 🙂

I am recording it unless we forget, Calendargirl!

I started watching it but now that Wimbledon is on, it has gone out of the window. I may go back to it once the tennis is over.

Thanks for pointing it out Allira

Thanks Calendargirl, I was looking at the app home page a couple nights ago and clicked on it to see if anymore had been added.

We’re working our way through this and it’s been good. Nice evening viewing and good storyline.

Calendargirl Sun 18-Feb-24 08:06:51

You’re welcome Callistemon.

It’s not very taxing, and a leisurely watch.

Thanks for recommending this, Calendargirl
Just watched episode 1.

We both enjoyed it, partly because of the scenery.

Treebee Wed 14-Feb-24 19:11:05

Yes, really enjoying it. So is OH which is unusual for us! Hope they make another series.

Another Bryan Brown fan here. Remember him with Tom Cruise in Cocktail?

This is another murder by numbers series which I normally give up on because every episode is just like the last. But this is more interesting as there is a mystery woven into the plot and this has kept me watching. Then you have the beautiful scenery and the 'will they won't they' possibility. So all in all it's definitely worth watching.
