Very sad, he managed to stay so positive throughout his illness. 🌹

Ach that's a bugger. I really liked him and he fought so hard.

It is always so sad to read about the death of a young person. Johnnie Irwin was younger than my children. Life is not fair.

Those of us who have lived beyond our allotted span of "three score years and ten" are fortunate indeed.

Very sad, he seemed a lovely, brave man and has left behind a young family flowers

I just read about this as well, a very brave man, I always enjoyed his hosting of Place in the Sun and Escape to the Country.
My sympathies to his wife and family. RIP Jonnie.

It was terminal but he managed two years after being told he only had 6 months.
A lovely man - gone far too soon RIP

I just heard this. So sad. I kept hoping he would rally. His children are so young.
RIP Jonnie.

Sad news. He was only 50 and had been battling cancer for several years. Leaves a wife and young family.
