Robin Windsor has passed away at the age of 44. Shocking news gone too soon. RIP Robin.

That is very sad he certainly was one of the best dancers and reported to be a very nice, helpful man. Such a young age. RIP xx

I was really sad when I heard about it. All the comments focus on how kind and gentle he was, and that is certainly the impression I had. Poor man

I think he probably took his own life as it seems he was quite depressed. So very sad.

On Twitter his Dancing partner in her statement said he took his own was out.

To hear that makes it all the more heartbreaking. He was just mentioned on our local news as he helped with dance classes at a school. They showed a clip and the children looked like they were really enjoying themselves. So sad.

He apparently went missing for 3 days before he was found. So sad

Apparently he had been depressed for some time. After a back operation he was not asked back to Strictly the following year and money problems made the depression worse. Poor man awful to feel there was only one option left. RIP flowers

Robin seemed to be very popular with friends on Strictly as well as the contestants. Very sad.

"His cause of death has not been revealed, and his family asked for the "constant" speculation to stop."

"We ask for the needs of our family and friends to be taken into consideration and for our privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
