I admire him but can't cope with him on this programme.

Sky presrnters as a whole are hopeless as far as interrupting goes.

I like him

I don’t have sky at the moment, so can’t comment on his tv style.
I’m familiar with TP, but didn’t realise he’s 70 now and had been Knighted. Good on him.

I’m a big admirer of Trevor Phillips but he does interrupt.

I dont watch it so do not know who he is but would assume that nobody complains therefor it is not known that he is unpopular.

I choose to rely on Sky News and comment for reliable journalism..most, if not all, their teams can be trusted to offer informed, educated opinion.
However, I am almost immediately compelled to switch over when Sir Trevor Phillips takes to the screen on Sundays. He stutters and obfuscates, making a mockery of interviews as he constantly interrupts his guest for no real reason. When his opinions are challenged, he weakens and withdraws and then changes the subject, so that there is never any satisfactory conclusion. Why is he there when there are so many very competent journalists in the Sky team?
