I saw a recommendation to this series in the newspaper from a reader. I’d never heard of it.

I checked and there were 9 series. I started to watch episode 1 of series 1 and I just couldn’t stop laughing. I need the subtitles as it is Broad Glaswegian. If you don’t mind a bit of swearing and old fashioned humour like the Two Ronnies, you may enjoy it. 🤪😁😆

We've just binged the whole lot on iplayer and really enjoyed it. Now we have finished we're rather missing the company of Victor and Jack and the gang.

I thoroughly enjoyed this programme. Very amusing. Another tv series set in Scotland which i enjoyed is Two Doors Up also very amusing with wonderful characters. Bbc i think.

My family think I'm Isa. I can't disagree. People huv tae know!!

Isa is of course a youngish quite glam lady in real life whereas the old boys seem to have grown into their roles over the years. My son met them in a local shop promoting their Whisky and he said they were hilarious

Were they not originally in Naked Video? My OH is Scottish and we have seen all the series plus repeats. Isa is just the image of my MiL’s neighbour the nosiest person on the planet

We love Still Game. It's such a change to the violence and murder that passes for entertainment on TV these days to just watch something you can have a good laugh at. I love all of the characters but the ribbing they give the barman at their pub is particularly funny

It is fantastic! We have watched all of it and loved the laughs but as you say - hope you don’t mind the swearing and old fashioned humour.

we wouldn't miss it , even now that it's repeats , all the characters are brilliant.

We like the programme, and discovered it last year, but had missed the early series, so are now watching that (Jack had just got his flat, Winston was riding a bike)

One of the best episodes was a Christmas/New Year special, where the flat was decorated with everything you had forgotten about from the 70s. Just right for that season.

I love Still Game, love the friendship between the two of them. and cringe at mean Tam grin There are pubs just like The Clansman too, I saw a few when I was attending a relative's funeral in Paisley, as we drove past I was hoping to see Boaby sweeping the step!

I hadn't heard of it until I went to Scotland, but I love the dour humour.
