Emmerdale, coercive control

It's an interesting story line and well acted. Tom does an excellent job of concealing his true nature from others. I hope this may help others who are victims of this type of behaviour.

I havent seen this but I thought the archers portrayal of coercive control was very good.

Yes Cossy, I absolutely agree. I didn't realise in the beginning to be honest.
ITV are doing an amazing job with the Tom and Belle storyline and whilst many of the Soaps do have 'larger than life characters' it is so important to keep stories true to life and relevant.

Yes I agree. But I also think soaps and dramas often do a very good job of screening these types of behaviour.
