The Chosen Frustrated with TV Channels

I've just finished watching The Chosen series 1 on Netflix. Enjoyed it as it's a bit different to the usual story of Jesus's life but more about the disciples and how they began following him. Tried to find Series 2 and 3 (4 not out yet) only to discover they are only on Amazon Prime. So disappointed. It seem to be a thing with these companies.
They advertised Law and Order (Special Victims Unit) on Netflix and me and DH were hoping to see it from the start but they only put Series 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11.
Why put something on a channel to tempt people then only show half of it. So angry and disappointed.

Sign up for a free month, binge watch and cancel.

Just signed up for a free month so got until May 7th. I can watch Series 2 for free but have to pay £9.99 for series 3. Such a rip off really but I might do that then cancel.

I love Law and Order. I like L&O SVU not quite as much but still very watchable. I think it’s because I have never really taken to the detectives (other than Benson) whereas I have mostly liked the detectives in L&O - especially Jeff Orbach as Lennie Briscoe. I also have a bit of a passion for Sam Waterston as ADA Jack McCoy. The legal arguments are fascinating.

I just set my Humax to record episodes of both on 5USA and watch in whatever random order they appear. As the stories are mostly about the detection and prosecution of the criminals and not very much about the personal lives of the professionals, I don’t think it matters that much.

Apple TV have series one of Law and Order SVU but then only 4 through 24. The only place I can find that has all 25 series is DVD rental service Cinema Paradiso. If you are prepared to binge watch you could watch the series that are missing from digital apps more cost effectively through a sub to CP.

The Chosen hasn't yet been released on DVD.

TinSoldier there are lots of tv series on channels such as ITVX but quite often there are series missing. It's very annoying when you have to pay extra. That is true of Amazon Prime even if you pay for a whole years subscription there are some things that you have to pay extra for like the third series of The Chosen.
