Are Netflix getting their moneysworth out of the Division Two royals?

I think Meghan has missed a trick here.

She loves dogs. She goes to rescue centres.

This may be the one thing that the British would be interested in. We really don't need to see yet another cooking show.

Do something with dogs, M.

Eeek!!
Not in the U.K. please!

Sparklefizz Mon 15-Apr-24 11:16:30

Yes, Annie, I watched a video of that online with Meghan moving another woman along so that she (the woman) was not next to Harry. My first thought, after M had presented the trophy, was why did she place herself in the centre of the team photo with all the men? Why not the men on their own?

Nah! Alison Hammond has bagged that slot!

Yes Sparkle at sports events when prizes are awarded the guest presenter does not hog centre stage , that position is for the team, and to direct the guests where to stand , embarrassing

In the interest of fairness, what about these photos? Yikes, she’s even wearing a white dress in one of them.

Anniebach Mon 15-Apr-24 12:59:53

Yes a summer day dress, nice photograph with the team, no
guests to physically push around, not that the Princess of Wales
would stand on stage and direct everyone where to stand

That photo's a hoot!

The dogs look as if one's asking the other "Are you sure that's not real poodle fur?" 😯

I do like Alison Hammond on The Bakeoff but I'm not sure if traumatised dogs are quite ready for her.

Callistemon21 Mon 15-Apr-24 13:07:44

Spiky heels might be good for the grass, spiking aerates it.

The dress is nice but I'm not sure about the crossover front part.

Anniebach Mon 15-Apr-24 13:23:14

She was driven in a buggy so the grass didn’t benefit

I think AH is saying, ‘Hurry up and take the photo. The damned dog’s weeing on me!’

The woman at the polo match who Megan told to move was the chair of the charity and it was she who had been invited to.
present the prize

SusiK Mon 15-Apr-24 14:10:32

Very sad really. Such bitterness.

Anniebach Mon 15-Apr-24 14:29:31

Do you think Megan is bitter ? I don’t think so

SusiK Mon 15-Apr-24 14:55:50

I just hope she’s happy - people who express a lot of bitterness are often very unhappy in themselves…..

Anniebach Mon 15-Apr-24 15:02:49

Do they ? I am sorry to learn that, I doubt happiness can be achieved through causing hurt to others, but i accept we have different values

Barbadosbelle Mon 15-Apr-24 15:04:37

..

Division 2? When did they go up?

MissInterpreted Mon 15-Apr-24 15:06:45

What you have to remember on here is that for some people, the following seems to be true - anything the 'sainted' Diana and Kate do = good. Anything Meghan does = bad.
And no, I'm no fan of the royal family in general, but I just fid it amusing to say the least how some people never miss any opportunity to have a go at one, yet can see no wrong in another.

Anniebach Mon 15-Apr-24 15:09:56

I have criticised Diana,

SusiK Mon 15-Apr-24 15:10:59

Not sure that Diana was considered a saint by the Kate (Catherine) fan club, but otherwise, I agree. Hypocrisy at its best, especially when we can’t categorically know the ‘truth’ of anything we read.

Anniebach Mon 15-Apr-24 15:15:26

I can accept what I see and hear

Ilovecheese Mon 15-Apr-24 15:18:55

What any of us see and hear is through the media.

SusiK Mon 15-Apr-24 15:19:33

We can all choose to accept what we see and hear about anything g - or we can question it…..

Katie59 Mon 15-Apr-24 15:21:12

Years ago when the kids had ponies I bought a pony from a dealer (mistake I know) she was totally unmageable even experienced riders couldn’t control her. Then one day a friend saw her “perform” and said she’d make a good Polo Pony so that was her destination, apparently the more spirit the better.

O, a wasted opportunity.

I used to get DS to walk over our polo field lawn in his spiked golf shoes!

Smileless2012 Mon 15-Apr-24 15:23:25

If Catherine had behaved in the same way, she'd have been criticised too.
