Was recommended in The Times tv guide. I never read A Year in Provence so thought I’d make do with watching the film.

My friend likes it but I'm not a fan of Russell Crowe

I find him very watchable but can’t say I’m very impressed with this film. If I hadn’t decided to settle down on the sofa with the dog to watch it I would have given up on it!

Missed it!

I'll try to watch on catch up if available, thank you for the tip.

It looks like a departure from the normal rôle for Russell Crowe.

I’ve watched it and enjoyed it but the book is better, I think.
I wish they’d make a film of Hotel Pastis. It’s one of my favourite audio books.

I've watched it several times as it's so happy it's not really like the book. There was a TV series several years ago which was nearer to the book and I think the lead actor was John Thaw.

I liked it a lot, DH and I both thought it was charming and a lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
