The Daily Mail on Saturday has the best one in my opinion. I don't like the Mail but the mag is second to none re TV listings .

I agree. It really grieves me to buy the newspaper, but the TV guide is excellent. And my mum likes to read the paper when she comes for Sunday lunch, she enjoys tutting at the articles! 😂

I also get TV Choice - it is currently 79p. I like being able to look at what's on in a mag rather than looking online or on the tv. It's less confusing and you have it right there in front of you, and can look forward or back. It's got all the channels, Freeview, Sky, everything.

I pay £9.99 for Readily, it’s an online magazine/newspaper app. We’ve found it excellent value and can be shared between 5 different people. I believe some people also use free online magazines/newspapers via their library.

I buy TV Choice. I like the crossword and son does the Suduko. We haven’t won a prize yet but I did win a fiver for a Readers letter.

My OH uses TV Choice, I use the guides on the TV/Sky or look at the Sky online guide.

Mel1968 If your library has PressReader or BorrowBox you can get the Radio Times for free! Also if you have kindle unlimited access the RT can be seen there. I stopped my subscription a month ago to save the price and looked online. If you haven’t come acrosss PressReader from your library, do ask the wide range of UK (everything except The Times and The Sun) and new spa from across the world! All the UK magazines too. BorrowBox (other library systems are around too) has ebooks emagazines and audio books. All you need is your library card number.

I use Press reader and Borrowbox and agree they are an excellent option. So many newspapers, magazines etc even all the ones for special interests and hobbies all to read for free.

I Google free view and get all the weekly listings from that.

Buy a weekend paper with a supplement. It’s a lot cheaper and highlights recommended programs on streaming apps.

Beechnut Sun 28-Apr-24 17:29:50

I use the menu on the tv to see what’s on. No cost at all.

Oregano Sun 28-Apr-24 17:28:01

I get TV Choice,it's much cheaper than Radio Times and has everything I need I think.

Can anyone recommend a good TV magazine.
I currently subscribe to the Radio Times - which costs £208 per year - I can’t justify that amount of money any more.
We don’t have a daily newspaper - so don’t have that option.
Thank you 😊
