A really enjoyable drama about the fight of the suffergettes.
Made me think twice about not voting in the next election because I can't decide who to vote for. Being reminded what these women went through has made me realise I must.

This post makes me feel so very guilty as I have a postal vote as I am disabled and elderly.
I received my voting papers for the local election and for voting for the Mayor of Greater Manchester.
After reading it I put it on one side to deal with and totally forget.My late H would have been so cross with me as I am with myself. Voting rights and especially for women were so hard fought for it is a disgrace not to use it.
Young people don’t appreciate the struggle and the privilege of being allowed to have a voice in the future of their local and national politics,
