I loved Hunt for the Wilderpeople which I saw at the cinema but I’m sure I’ve got it on dvd. We started watching it with the grandsons a few years ago but, although the humour was ok for them we had to turn it off because of the swearing!

I’m trying to save it for when I’m not too tired to watch it! ( exhausted today after looking after the grandchildren but too tired to sleep either). I was so disappointed when I thought I’d missed it and thought I would have to buy the dvd.I think has am Neil’s got the most beautiful, kind face. I’ve often found obscure Australian films on tv that I’ve loved. I think there was a series on BBC 4 about the history of Australian films.

MayBee I have watched it twice and loved it both times. Miranda Richardson is in it as well. There are some films you can watch time and time again and still enjoy them but some films you can watch once and never again or turn off after few minutes . Like some TV shows or books .

Sam Neil hasn't been type cast in a set role so he appears in films of all types and has got better looking with age. British and Australian actors appear in high and low budget films and very few have surgery to make them look younger. While lot of American actors do and look ridiculous. What's wrong with wrinkles ,greying hair and other things that age does to your body.

You will enjoy it and want to watch it again.

I’m reviewing this film without even watching it but I think I’m going to love it. I caught the tail end of it on Film4 whilst channel hopping last night and was really disappointed that it had ended. I love Australian films and I can’t remember ever seeing Sam Neil ( swoon) in a bad one. I was so relieved to find that I would be able to watch it on Catchup so I’m saving it for when I’ve got a couple of spare hours. Really looking forward to it. Sam Neil (swoon again) and sheep ( I love sheep!). What’s not to like!
