You are a woman of taste and discernment Calendargirl. (Like me 😁)

Married first sight New Zealand is starting soon. It might be slightly better if you like that type of show.

No, never watched it, along with BB, I’m A Celebrity, Made In Chelsea, TOWIE, and similar.

I realise I may be missing out, but the trailers put me off.

At least my trivia doesn’t extend to Love Island.

Germanshepherdsmum

Don’t you have anything more interesting or important to discuss?

I find nothing wrong with including trivia in discussions with my GCs. You obviously don't mind doing it on GN

I am someone well over 50 who watches it. I like it as a subject to discuss with my grown-up GCs. For similar reasons I watch MAFS, I'm a Celeb and BB. We know it is rubbish but don't take it at all seriously. Nobody is obliged to watch, so there is no need for anyone to be snotty about it.

It's popular with young women at work, who probably like all the coupling, fall outs and gossip. Must admit, don't know anyone over 50 who watches Love Island.

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 27-May-24 14:29:24

Thank goodness I don’t know anybody who talks about it.

tanith Mon 27-May-24 14:17:40

No never seen it but younger family members talk about it.

BlueBelle Mon 27-May-24 14:16:30

Seen bits but think it’s awful couldn’t be bothered with any of it so it’s a big NO from me

Germanshepherdsmum Mon 27-May-24 13:50:28

Good grief no.

Greenfinch Mon 27-May-24 13:35:05

Can’t think of anything worse.

Never watched it never will but the billboards seem to be working...

nanaK54 Mon 27-May-24 13:18:45

Honestly, no, I think it's awful, but others will of course feel differently.
I suppose the thing to do really is to watch one episode and see what you think.

I know it's aimed more at young women and teens, but do any older people on here watch Love Island? It seems to be on billboards everywhere in Carlisle at the moment and is Love Island actually worth watching for six weeks.
