In real life Bethany is pregnant, I wonder if she will leave the cobbles permanently or like Fiz will return in a few months after perhaps transfer for surgery and long-term treatment.

I suppose they have to hold her job open in the usual way, and she'll decide later. I thought she might be another representative of disability if she keeps the stoma. The writers can be quite good at highlighting difficulties that different groups have, but broadcastable stoma-related storylines aren't springing to mind.

Quite enough drama going on as it is.

I suppose not Doodledog but I still think they are scraping the barrel with some of the storylines.

I just don’t think she will suddenly go off men.

Having a relationship with a woman doesn't equate to having gone off men though. People aren't necessarily 'one way or the other' sexuality-wise.

Considering Paul was so popular, there was very few people in the church for the funeral and not that many at the rave. The different heights of the coffin bearers looked ridiculous, tall Kit and tiny Summer and David.

I agree Kit is a very unlikeable character and probably has a dodgy back story yet to be revealed.

When Paul’s urn was sitting on the speaker at the cringey rave I was sure the vibration was going to knock it off and scatter his ashes across the cobbles.

I meant where does Kit fit into the criminal underworld that has pervaded the cobbles lately. Is he a friend of Damon, or is he colluding with the awful Nathan in a grooming ring? I don't think he's a straightforward rozzer, is he?

I agree with you about Kit. A detective he may be on the surface but he has his fingers in a lot of shady pies. I think he is involved with the grooming gang but not sure if he knows too much about Damon. He is a very unpleasant character as we saw when he bullied Beth from the cobbles. I think Daniel is suspicious of him but he has most people fooled.
