My heart sunk last night when the odious Marcus appeared. Being Corrie I suppose someone in the street will take him in and he’ll soon be a reformed character. Stu has already noticed him. How long till he offers him a bed and a job in the restaurant.
Yes Stu saw Mason in the alleyway Such a lot happens in that alley Oh Roy please get rid of the beard it’s not a nice beard at all Is he going out for a reason I mean a real life reason ( stageshow or something) or just a rest after a big part I don’t I understand why Lauren is trusting Joel I d rather sleep in a doorway
I’m in favour of soaps dealing with social issues up to a point, but this does seem a bit too neat if they are bundling homelessness, drugs, sex work and bullying together - and that’s without the Machiavellian control of the likes of Joel.
Oh yes. Roy looks dreadful. He must shave soon. Re Carla I do remember her quacking what sounded like, 'Carla Barla' as she answered the phone. That was ages ago too..
I hope she doesn't marry him. It's looking like he might come a cropper (which will save a Cropper) soon. I'd like to think so.
I'd like to think that Lauren will be safe soon. I don't like the storylines where young people are so vulnerable. We haven't seen or heard from Liam lately, but that story was upsetting too.
I’m fed up of the now regular theme of ‘bad uns’ in the street. We now have three altogether at one time, there’s Joel, the sullen daughter of D S Swain, and the policeman who is the long lost son of Bernie. All in a few yards in one small street.
I agree.
Corrie has morphed into something it never used to be.
DC Kit doesn’t seem too busy with any real police work. Either sitting in the cafe or at the pub. And just strolling about when he is at work, seemingly picking and choosing which ‘jobs’ he will deal with.
Will it turn out he is somehow related to the police officer who Craig got sacked (or whatever was mentioned last night?)
I couldn’t recall what that was about, but no doubt he will soon be blackmailing Craigy about his cover up with Faye and Emma and the old man’s death.
How long ago that seems! And we thought the scripts were bad then!
A lot of the problem is there are too many writers so there is little continuity. A couple of writers who spoke and planned would make for better episodes.

It was frustrating that Lauren didn’t take the chance to scream for help while in the hospital and then she disappeared in a taxi. Presumably this means she wants to vanish yet again. Easy for her as she’s invisible to all cctv cameras .
At least, the male nurse had a conversation with her and they’ll eventually piece it together and confirm she’d visited Roy. It might need supercop our Craigie to visit the hospital to establish the facts. I wonder if sullen teenager and daughter of DS Swain will be instrumental in Joel’s downfall. Carla might then reward her with a managerial role in the factory .
