They're obviously trying to make a police version of 'Green Wing'. It's not working yet but it might.
It's not a documentary btw! Try 'Scot Squad'. It's a very funny spoof documentary.

I think we should write to ITV and complain. It seems you can send an e-mail but I'm not sure to whom, so just send to both.

I will be complaining about this programme as I think it's a disgrace to the Police force.

I haven’t even bothered to watch it the title put me right off. I think it’s bloody rude and I’m surprised they were allowed to get away with it…

My trainee Police officer GS turned it off after 10 minutes. He was appalled at the programme. It made no reference to the hurdles the applicants had to go through to get on the course, as if a family of criminals could chuck their son out of their car and into the college!! No way!

The whole thing is totally disrespectful to the Police force, not only the name Piglets but the script, the characters, it was just awful. The comedy was brutal and aggressive. If you keep making fun of the Police in this way it will be a real turn off for any decent person wanting to have a career in the force. I despair.

I wonder whether the name is used within the profession, like a sort of 'in' joke, but I don't know.

Was put off by the title.

Meant to watch but forgot; dislike the name.

I haven't seen the programme but agree with Theexwife the name is offensive.

I havent seen it but surely calling police piglets is as bad as calling them pigs, wrong in my opinion.

I've just watched the first ten minutes on ITVX. Not my kind of humour either! Far too obvious - I prefer something more subtle.

Having a GS doing Police training at the moment, I thought this new comedy might be amusing. However, I thought it was absolute rubbish and will not be watching again. I have yet to ask GS what he thought. My sense of humour can be sadly lacking these days!
Anyone else watched it?
