Started watching this last night as I can access ITVX for the next week( can’t get it on my old tv at home). Watched the first episode and the last ( fell asleep in the middle). Found it a bit implausible and dreary but can’t decide whether to try to watch the bit in the middle or whether it would be wasting a few hours of my life. ( I guess I’ve answered it myself by saying I found it dreary and implausible). I do like Jared Harris, though, which is why I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve watched a few trailers for the bits in the middle but annoyingly can’t find a synopsis anywhere as I just want to piece it all together.

We watched it all and quite enjoyed it despite the sad subject.
If you search the title and episode guide you will get some idea.

I thought it was quite good but sad about the little boy. I wanted to see his mother get her revenge.

I can only find a very brief episode guide. Why is the police detective suffering from ptsd?

Oh, and who was looking after the little boy when he was killed?

The mum was packing up their things on the beach and the little boy ran off. She told him to wait for her on the pavement which he did. The car mounted the pavement, driven at speed by the beast, and killed the little boy.

I’ve found a in depth synopsis on Telly visions. It’s no wonder I got confused. I think I will watch it properly even though I now know what happens.
