Jemaine Jenus was wrong and very immature. I feel sorry for his wife. He states that they were texts between consenting women, who were not underage, this is no excuse he was wrong.

However it was texting, so sex, or young children involved. He was arrogant and deserved a sanction of some sort, but I think this could have been dealt with in a far better way, as stated above this is not the same as Huw Edwards.

I think he's misused the word "consenting" l think he means "adults over the age of consent". Obviously the women weren't "consenting as they injected.
He's not bright.

As for boom gone, maybe bbc have learned from huw Edward’s et al. They were damned for not dealing with it quickly and no doubt there will be complaints about the speed this time.
We don’t know if there’s a background of other complaints and this may well be the last straw.

I hadn’t heard of him but understand the woman who complained was young and very junior, his texts were read out loud to him by a bbc executive and it was pretty unpleasant stuff.
It was bra ve of her to complain, it is never acceptable, especially when there is an inbalance of power.

What I don’t understand and isn’t clear did these women go along with it at first then get uncomfortable and if so why didn’t they just remove the texts and block him It doesn’t seem as if there was anything physical going on just dirty texts which could have been stopped with one press of the button

Still seems harsh to me but then I m not invested in the guy as I ve never watched him

It wasn't "boom gone", he knew he was under investigation but he was hoping he'd only be suspended, (so he lied to his wife about it). Obviously the BBC kept it low key until they finished their investigation and reached their final decision.
He has teenage children, what kind of example is he setting.

Whether the women wanted them is not the point.

They should not have been sent.

It sounds like with the one woman it was not consensual and sexting could mean material other than texts. It is taken seriously in workplaces blueBelle.
