Film: Sing Sing

I went to see the film Sing Sing today and can highly recommend it. That is if you are tired, as I am, of the many films these days which rely heavily on CGI and noisy spectacle. I am sick of such films where there is little attention paid to plotting or character.

Sing Sing was so inspiring and moving.

I have just looked it up on IMDB.

It sounds a bit like "Shawshank Redemption" which I loved. So I think it is my kind of film and I will give it a go.

Thanks for the recommendation.

When I saw the thread title I thought it was another film about a choir. 😂

Somebody in my choir recommended it and the association made me think it was about a choir too. Despite it not being what I thought, I enjoyed it.

Elloethan

why didn't you explain what it was about?

Sorry "lemsip". I thought if people were interested they would probably look it up on Rotten Tomatoes or some other film review site.

It is about Sing Sing prison in the USA where prisoners can take part in theatrical productions, as part of the Rehabilitation through the Arts programme.
