Strictly restarts this Saturday when it will be the pairing up of celebs and pros..... which may even be less cringe-making than usual. grin

I don't know many of this year's celebs, but nothing new to that, and no doubt I shall get hooked in as usual.

I think Tasha is a wonderful dancer, but I think Sarah puts more feeling into her dancing, she’s my winner

petal53 Sun 24-Nov-24 13:21:33

I’d like Tasha to win. I think she’s the best dancer.

I like Anton.

I like Anton as well. He’s not loud and he doesn’t shout over everyone.
I would be delighted to get a good mark from Craig though.

Chris's journey has been nothing but amazing, and very moving. But it's time to go now, and with head so high and great dignity. Wow.

I agree. He didn’t look comfortable with the paso and I would not like to see him struggle to stay in. He’s been fantastic!

Think Chris is quite wonderful and has a natural sense of rhythm but do worry that part of his vote holds a degree of loving sympathy. I'm hoping like mad that BBC produces an in depth documentary of their training sessions which I would find fascinating. Sarah's my shining star. Absolutely amazing..........

Hellogirl1 Sun 24-Nov-24 12:22:01

So do I

petal53 Sun 24-Nov-24 11:41:15

I like Anton.

Millie22 Sun 24-Nov-24 11:34:06

I agree about Anton. He seems to have changed this year and gone all daft.

Definitely a 10 from Craig is very valued.

Clawdy Sun 24-Nov-24 11:28:15

I've always liked Anton, but he's getting sillier each week now.

Sparklefizz Sun 24-Nov-24 10:14:01

Yes, I think Craig's opinion is the one most valued.... possibly Shirley's verbal advice comes 2nd when she's being sensible but her marks are often ridiculous.

Anton is pretty much of a joke in my view.

Calendargirl Sun 24-Nov-24 07:49:37

Tasha and Alijas really deserved their 40.

And that is why Craig hanging on to his 10 paddle until then is so telling.

The way the other three judges have doled out 10’s the past few weeks has been a joke in most cases.

I bet anything Craig’s ‘10’ is what they all strive for.

I've never seen Vito wear glasses before as he did in the training clip. Goodness, I almost hyperventilated. Some men look quite delicious in glasses. Top that with that very... err....sensual rhumba. Well it was a great way to end a miserable wet and windy day! grin

I agree about Lauren, that blonde wig really suited her, I'm not very keen on her rather austere haircut. I thought she looked like a dead ringer for Amanda Barrie. She is a terrific dancer and seems to have a very happy disposition.

JB's Charleston was such fun, loved it.

Sweetpeasue Sat 23-Nov-24 20:53:11

Chris is amazing. It's really difficult when voting between those with prior professional experience and someone like Chris who has overcome so much to dance.
I don't think the Paso was his best dance unfortunately.
Loved JBs Charleston- I've liked him from the beginning.
Tasha and Alijas were just beautiful with that American Smooth/foxtrot

I had been thinking the same thing about the blonde wig on Lauren. It suited her so much better than the quite harsh short cut.

Sparklefizz Sat 23-Nov-24 20:33:05

I do so admire Chris, he must be giving such inspiration to others, and Dianne must be an amazing teacher.

What a wonderful evening of dance tonight, plus the music was just right for once. That Lewis Capaldi song is heartbreaking.

escaped Sat 23-Nov-24 20:29:15

Pete and Montell in the dance off?

nanaK54 Sat 23-Nov-24 20:26:40

Tasha and Aljaz were wonderful.
All three votes have gone to Chris, I am just astonished that he is able to learn these dances

Sweetpeasue Sat 23-Nov-24 20:14:49

Oh that was well deserved 40. Absolutely beautiful.

Sparklefizz Sat 23-Nov-24 20:14:06

Neil going crackers behind Tasha and Aljaz!

escaped Sat 23-Nov-24 20:13:52

A well deserved 40!

Calendargirl Sat 23-Nov-24 20:13:07

Oh, that Lewis Capaldi song and that dance!

Breathtaking!

Sparklefizz Sat 23-Nov-24 20:10:02

That Quickstep by Tasha and Aljaz was fabulous.

I think it will be Jamie and Pete in the dance off.
Chris is hanging on.

petal53 Sat 23-Nov-24 20:02:49

I think Chris is too wooden. Be interesting to see if he survives this week.

Millie22 Sat 23-Nov-24 19:59:45

I think Chris is incredible but he did struggle a bit with that Paso.
