Strictly restarts this Saturday when it will be the pairing up of celebs and pros..... which may even be less cringe-making than usual. grin

I don't know many of this year's celebs, but nothing new to that, and no doubt I shall get hooked in as usual.

Sarah and Vito deserved 10s too!! Grrr!

Casdon Sat 02-Nov-24 19:27:03

Well done JB and Lauren!

Sparklefizz Sat 02-Nov-24 19:25:39

He is! He's fantastic and creates great choreography.

rafichagran Sat 02-Nov-24 19:20:15

Lovely dance by Sarah and Vito. To be honest I could not take my of Vito either. He is a amazing dancer.

Sparklefizz Sat 02-Nov-24 19:16:06

WOW!!! Sarah and Vito !!

Sparklefizz Sat 02-Nov-24 19:08:57

I thought Wynne was over marked too.
I love Chris and he's done brilliantly but I'm not sure how much further he can go.

Calendargirl Sat 02-Nov-24 19:05:11

Not impressed with Sam’s American Smooth, and I wanted to be as I love the song.

Stiff as a board.

Over marked by Motsi and Anton.

Sparklefizz Sat 02-Nov-24 18:39:09

I thought Pete was quite good.
I love Freddie Mercury and that song!

Sparklefizz Sat 02-Nov-24 18:33:13

Haha! Who recognised Craig in that entrance? Not me!

Millie22 Mon 28-Oct-24 21:13:02

I really like Lauren too. She has been so much better than Joanne Clifton on the Choreography slot.

Sara1954 Mon 28-Oct-24 15:44:03

I really like Lauren, I was disappointed she didn’t get a celebrity partner

escaped Mon 28-Oct-24 15:33:26

Yes, I like Lauren's dancing.

Casdon Mon 28-Oct-24 15:31:52

I saw that Lauren Oakley is going to dance with JB this week, she is a good dancer and filled in for Amy last year. I hope Amy is okay and will be fit to return soon.

escaped Mon 28-Oct-24 15:29:45

Oh that's a shame. Will JB be out of the show, or just be taking a week off?
He's an interesting person. Played the flute and the piano, a good rugby player too. Apparently he studied Theology at King's College, London.

Sad to hear about Amy Dowden being taken ill after Saturday night’s show. She was taken to hospital as a precaution - I think she was as fine though.

According to Mumsnet she won’t be dancing next week. Probably taking a rest for the week. She’s been through so much and her health is the most important thing. Hope she’s OK.

I hope we get an iconic singer to perform on the Sunday show. So far I'm underwhelmed.

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Oct-24 20:07:57

The standard of dancing is high already and they are only halfway through.

Icons Week next week should be interesting.

Allira Sun 27-Oct-24 20:06:25

I did think her dance was lovely but yes, Shayne deserved to get through.

We have to remember that she does everything "backwards in heels".

Grannynannywanny Sun 27-Oct-24 20:03:54

Sad but not surprised to see Punam go. She was never going to be a match for Shayne in the dance off. I agree with Sparklefizz. Shayne didn’t deserve to be in the dance off.

escaped Sun 27-Oct-24 20:03:45

😆 crossed post!

escaped Sun 27-Oct-24 20:03:20

Right decision, though the choreography did leave Shane standing around waving his stick for too long at the start!

Calendargirl Sun 27-Oct-24 20:02:39

The only problem with Shayne’s dance was ‘a bit too much messing abaht’ at the start, in Len’s words, although it was dramatic.

Still shouldn’t have been in dance off though.

Glad he’s through.

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Oct-24 19:57:36

Personally I love Shayne and Nancy's routine - very dramatic, and some of my favourite music.

Craig will save them.

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Oct-24 19:44:39

Shayne doesn't deserve to be in the dance off.

Yes, Calendargirl, Craig's opinion is the one they all value.

Calendargirl Sun 27-Oct-24 19:42:36

Oh dear, handbags at dawn, Shirley and Craig, disagreeing in the feedback forum.

Shirley determined to show she is ‘head judge’.

Perhaps, but Craig’s is the opinion they all want to hear.
