I saw that Lauren Oakley is going to dance with JB this week, she is a good dancer and filled in for Amy last year. I hope Amy is okay and will be fit to return soon.

Oh that's a shame. Will JB be out of the show, or just be taking a week off?
He's an interesting person. Played the flute and the piano, a good rugby player too. Apparently he studied Theology at King's College, London.

Sad to hear about Amy Dowden being taken ill after Saturday night’s show. She was taken to hospital as a precaution - I think she was as fine though.

According to Mumsnet she won’t be dancing next week. Probably taking a rest for the week. She’s been through so much and her health is the most important thing. Hope she’s OK.

I hope we get an iconic singer to perform on the Sunday show. So far I'm underwhelmed.

The standard of dancing is high already and they are only halfway through.

Icons Week next week should be interesting.

I did think her dance was lovely but yes, Shayne deserved to get through.

We have to remember that she does everything "backwards in heels".

Sad but not surprised to see Punam go. She was never going to be a match for Shayne in the dance off. I agree with Sparklefizz. Shayne didn’t deserve to be in the dance off.

Right decision, though the choreography did leave Shane standing around waving his stick for too long at the start!

The only problem with Shayne’s dance was ‘a bit too much messing abaht’ at the start, in Len’s words, although it was dramatic.

Still shouldn’t have been in dance off though.

Personally I love Shayne and Nancy's routine - very dramatic, and some of my favourite music.
