Strictly restarts this Saturday when it will be the pairing up of celebs and pros..... which may even be less cringe-making than usual. grin

I don't know many of this year's celebs, but nothing new to that, and no doubt I shall get hooked in as usual.

I love Sarah! I also love Vito - with ot without glasses. blush

Calendargirl Sat 07-Dec-24 19:13:46

I can’t take to Sarah, although she dances well.

She has a trim, youthful body, but an older looking face.

Having said that, Shirley often comments on her being in her 50’s and a mother, making her sound a bit frumpy and ‘mumsy’.

Why? Doesn’t say that about anyone else.

confused

I agree with Craig that Chris lacked energy.

rafichagran Sat 07-Dec-24 19:08:05

I would like to see Chris go through to the final, but JB to win.

*Sparklefizz*, DH had an adventure of a journey home today, trains cancelled in Sussex, train driver taken ill in Surrey, across London to Paddington, finally back to Devon. I was tracking him and didn't have the heart to leave him to fo the last 40 minutes by bus, so picked him up.

Back to the dances!

Sounds dreadful escaped. So sorry to read this and glad you're both safe at home now.

merlotgran Sat 07-Dec-24 19:06:29

It’s hard not to feel so much admiration for Chris that you want him to win regardless.

RosiesMaw2 Sat 07-Dec-24 19:02:47

I really want him to go further, but this was tired and a bit flat footed.
Maybe he has reached his limit - but I suspect the popular vote may carry him through.

Chris’s Charleston just not good enough for a semi final.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 07-Dec-24 19:00:55

JB 👍

Sweetpeasue Sat 07-Dec-24 18:59:44

JB my winner.

escaped Sat 07-Dec-24 18:58:55

JB had a difficult dance there and he nailed it.

rafichagran Sat 07-Dec-24 18:57:12

JB was brilliant.

Sparklefizz Sat 07-Dec-24 18:50:30

WOW JB !!!
Fantastic and dramatic! It's a 10 from me.

escaped Were you not in the Red Zone in Devon today, where we had to stay at home?

escaped Sat 07-Dec-24 18:44:55

Yes, with the day I've had in Devon today, travel and weather-wise, I need some nice entertainment. 🍷

TillyTrotter Sat 07-Dec-24 18:43:33

I don’t enjoy being negative but that wasn’t Tasha’s best dance and I didn’t like music either merlotgran
It is not difficult at this stage for a female Celeb to do amazing lifts aided by a male Pro. (in my opinion)

GrannyGravy13 Sat 07-Dec-24 18:42:38

Raring to go 🍷

Sparklefizz Sat 07-Dec-24 18:40:59

I didn't like Tasha's music at all.

merlotgran Sat 07-Dec-24 18:40:42

Yep!

TillyTrotter Sat 07-Dec-24 18:36:54

Are GN fans ready for the semi-final?

Sara1954 Mon 02-Dec-24 22:40:51

I don’t see why Pete should go, it would be disrespectful to the many people who voted for him for a start, and he has no previous experience, and he has improved.
I really hope JB wins after Saturdays performance, and Lauren is definitely one of my favourite professionals

Millie22 Mon 02-Dec-24 16:36:03

Well I'm glad Pete is in the semi final. He is what Strictly is supposed to be about as he hasn't had previous dance training and his performance on Saturday was lovely.
