Oh what a joy! Missed that but will try to find it on iPlayer. I still tap out a tune and DH tries to guess what it is - not always successfully, but it keeps us amused.

We had a nostalgic evening watching Call my Bluff and Face the Music. Why does no one speak so clearly anymore? It was wonderful to see Robin Ray again. I’d forgotten how good looking he was and his knowledge of classical music was amazing. We will be watching again.

Had a quick look at tonight’s TV and was delighted to see a repeat of Face the Music, Joseph Cooper’s 1974 musical game show with panellists, Joyce Grenfell, Richard Baker and the very clever Robin Ray. Much missed wit and talent!

It’s on BBC4 at 9.25.
