Yes, yes! icanhandthemback "Celebrity seems to be an all encompassing word!" You have encapsulated what I was trying to say far better than my own cack-handed, ham-fisted, forked-tongued -rubbish attempt at proclaiming my discontent. I have to be taken to one side & firmly spoken to sometimes! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ˜—

Gemma came across very well I thought. The programme was interesting.

Wow! What has been happening to our once fabulous television programmes?
Currently, across all the tv channels we seem to be bombarded with non-entities from reality shows! Masterchef, Strictly, Bargain hunt & now that blooming Collins woman on "Who do you think you are"! Well, I could have told her who she was!!!! But it's not suitable for classy granny's like yourselves. ๐Ÿ™„

Not very nice.

But I can empathise with the view. "Celebrity" seems to be an all-encompassing word!

Wow! All I knew about GC was her name and little bits joking about her and Essex. I do not watch reality TV progs so had never even heard her speak.

I found it fascinating and I was surprised to learn how bright and interested in family history she was. Really enjoyed it.

Anyone else see this tonight on BBC? Gemma Collins - I'd never heard of her, but it was a fascinating programme. The researchers did an excellent job with very little information to go on initially as Gemma's mother had been fostered.
