I don’t mind them watermeadow.
There’s always an off button, but I do think there’s a surfeit of murder and violence at the moment.
They sometimes use the TV and radio to get people to be more accepting of things as normal and that can be a good thing. Think of The Last Leg.
But I don’t want to think murder and violence are normal.

I like the psychology of it and trying to solve them too

It is the puzzle that I enjoy.

I've never been a fan of crime drama or detective fiction. Much of it to be is pretty boring never mind distasteful.

I do, however veer towards true crime which I find fascinating.
What does that say about me?

Our TV isn’t that huge! We enjoy a good murder mystery, but can easily segregate fiction from real life and enjoy the guessing of ‘whodunit’.
Our book reading is sometimes of a similar genre.

I don’t understand why so many series/programmes are about murder. Isn’t the world violent enough without watching people killing each other for entertainment?
I know who-done-it books have been popular for a very long time but they are a whole lot nastier on a screen the size of a wall.
Perhaps some sweet nice normal people who like such things could explain their appeal?
