I haven’t been watching it. I think I got my months mixed up and thought it started this month. Got some catching up to do!

Am not enjoying it so far as finding it so depressing particularly about the Berlin apartments and their families.

David Olusoga is an exceptional talent. The researchers for this season also deserve huge credit. We thoroughly enjoyed this series and look forward to his next work.

It's brilliant and must take a great deal of research .

Such a lovely series. I too was really pleased to hear that Daisy had survived and went on to live a happy life.

I loved this latest series as it featured two homes, one in London and the other in Berlin. I was delighted to learn that Ursula found her daughter Daisy after WW2 ended. The only 2 survivors of that particular family. A fascinating watch.

Future generations will find us fascinating - a multitude of digital photos of our lunches!

Yes, that’s my suspicion too 😂

I really enjoy the wonderful research that goes into this series and the calm, measured way it is presented by David Olusoga..an academic in his own right

He's a Professor of History, so is bound to take his subject seriously.

I like the way he links the residents of the house to national and world affairs of the day, as well as finding human interest stories. As with any of these things (eg Who Do You Think You Are?) much depends on what sort of documentation has been left behind. I often wonder what future historians will find out about us, now that so much is stored on social media and less in phot albums and diaries.

I agree that a 'A house through time' interesting but I do find the gentleman presenter a little bit pretentious & earnest, so I don't watch anymore. 🤔

Always a pleasure to watch, both interesting and educational at the same time.

Love this series and love the presenter David Olusoga's voice, it's so gentle and calming, I could easily fall asleep listening to him 😉

Something else to look forward to now the dark nights are coming!

This really is good news. I've enjoyed all the episodes. They are presented in a very calming way. There is so much violence, often graphical, and rudeness in many other programmes in my opinion.
