Is anyone listening? I’m going to listen on catch-up later in the week on my own, with a tissue at the ready 😔.

I'm listening, wouldn't miss his last show, I've been listening to Johnnie for 50+ years and I will miss him, its quite an emotional show .

Me too NotAGran. I'm going to catch up on BBC Sounds when there is no one else in the house. I have been listening to him since his Radio Caroline days. He will be very missed.

Me too, NotAGran, and I have already shed a few tears…
Great to have his choice of music today.

I'm listening, tissues at the ready. I've been a fan of Johnnie Walker since the days of Pop the Question.
Hoping and praying that his remaining days are full of love and peace. End of an era.

I listened to it. It’s been a great show, I’m sad it’s the last one. Another favourite gone ☹️

Excellent but have to admit I've cried through most of the 2 hours

I know it’s a cliche but, it really is the end of an era. I’ve been listening to Johnnie Walker for 50 years. Sounds of the Seventies has been the happy backdrop to my Sunday afternoons for years. During lockdown, he and Tiggy were there as I tried to teach myself to draw and paint.
I had several weepy moments this afternoon. Full sobbing as he announced and played his final song. God Bless Johnnie 💙🙏🏽
