If anyone has children to entertain during the half-term then I can recommend The Wild Robot. It's an excellent, animated film with a message that we should not stereotype others or feel we must conform to type to fit into the world. Be yourself. Some laugh out loud and poignant parts too. It is heavily tipped for the Oscar for animated film and I can see why.

I found myself welling up at times. I thought I had better get a grip before the lights went up. Lovely film though.
