The Day of the Jackal -series 1 NOW

It was a little too much the way he killed, constantly, to get out of trouble although I am ashamed to say I was glad to see the demise of the MI5 woman - miscast imo.
There is bound to be a sequel - too popular not to be.
Quite chilling the way ER was so attractive like JF, but I bet, on modern psycho-analysis, ER will be suffering from PTSD.

I absolutely loved this, Eddie Redmayne is now my new crush!

I enjoyed this despite its flaws because it was exciting and pacy. Based only loosely on the book. Lashana Lynch was terrible as the MI5 operative, she kept slipping in and out of character. Eddie Redmayne was OK , but not that brilliantly cast in my opinion. He seemed not to have enough of the "killer" about him. I think I was spoilt by the ruthlessly understated , lethal Edward Fox in the original film.
This Jackal killed an awful lot of people.!!
As I say, despite all that I enjoyed it.

Jane43 maybe your son could gift the subscription- I don’t need expensive gifts or anything that I use/wear daily but a yearly subscription to Tv shows I welcome 🤞🤞

Like Black Doves, I really didn’t like this either. Some truly terrible acting. Not a patch on Slow Horses. Now I know why I watch so many foreign imports.

Just finished watching it, brilliant! Seemed to me to have been left open for a second series, but I hope not really as the ending was complete IMO.
