Not funny when he called out ‘Kick Michael Foot stick away from him ‘ he was a Thatcher supporter

Absolutely loved it but it wouldn't be PC now would it.

No, and the complaints would flow thick and fast. But at the time, it was funny.

I wonder what Generation Z would think of the show if they watched it?

But it was all done in the best possible taste smile to quote Cupid Stunt.

all very dated now!..
watch some of the old stuff that we laughed at back in the day and it's not funny today! we've all grown up, or most of us have.

There is a warning about the show on That's Memories, but I'd much rather watch a 44 year old comedy show than what we have now. Also nice to see Hot Gossip again.

I remember the Freddie Mercury moment, priceless.
We loved Kenny Everett, sacked for a fiver.
I remember the convoluted tale of the Afghan Hound
and the guy who pebbledashed 3 houses on the way home.
rip Kenny, one of Liverpool’s finest.

i was early teens and loved this prog but it def pushed the boundaries! i used to be able to watch it only when mum went out, usually to her keep fit! dad loved it esp the scantily clad ladies i should think so it was our 'guilty secret!'

I loved Kenny Everett so much! And also have such fond memories of his radio show. I think it was on a Saturday? His whacky jingles and sense of humour. A true original broadcaster.

Always loved the original, hilarious Kenny Everett.
Delighted although a bit surprised at its being repeated.
Isn't it a bit non-PC at a time when there is censorship of artistic expression that simply reflected the Mores of the era in which it was made?
Wonder what Cupid Stunt actually meant ?
as you say JDotJ " all done in the best possible taste"

Must look out for this, we need all the comedy we can get.
Did anyone else enjoy Grandma’s House, set in Ilford?

Error in the title, it should be show.
Last night's with the sketch with the live camel was hilarious and the Captain Kremmen story was great to watch again. Yes Kenny divided opinion- you either loved him or hated him- but you couldn't deny he was unique.

Enjoying the repeats on That's TV and for all the shows are a bit dated now, the rapid fire sketches, the characters and the guest stars( Boomtown Rats and The Pretenders in one show) still make them worth watching. It's like going back to when I was 12 again and roaring my head off at Captain Kremmen and doing Sid Snot impersonations.
I'm hoping That's TV ger the rights to the later shows where Cupid Stunt and Gizzard Puke appear and you have Billy Connolly as a regular co star.
