They are all amazing- but I'll put my bet on Will.

Wow all three did so well I thoroughly enjoyed every episode and despite knowing who won, I really loved the final, they all had an interesting back story. I wish them all well.

I am so pleased that this was allowed to continue to the final because the contestants have been the best I have seen, and I am quite addicted to MC.

Was so rooting for Dan, but the last four were all amazing chefs and showed great skills. They all seemed to share a genuine camaraderie. Am very pleased for Dan the way he has progressed throughout and I was quite teary at the end.

Dan so deserved to win. What a lovely man and so many avenues now open to him. I did shed a tear with him when his name was announced.

What an amazing series this has been. I was sooooo pleased to see Dan win, I clapped and cried with joy 🥲 for him.

Marcus said it was the best final. I am pleased that Dan won (partly because I was right and OH was wrong!).

What a fabulous series this has been featuring some very talented chefs.

The final 3 were all brilliant, I don't think Masterchef has ever brought a tear to my eye!

I was hoping Dan would win, and he did, but all three were fabulous chefs.

It's a pity the Masterchef Christmas Special has been cancelled, but Greg is being edited out of a series to be shown next year.

I am so pleased that he won. He has been consistently good throughout. George shone too and Chiara has a great future ahead with her with her original ideas. I have really enjoyed this series.

They are all wonderful.

I couldn't have picked between them but I'm glad Dan won.

ixion Thu 12-Dec-24 22:12:12

And the best did win, in my humble opinion!

Sar53 Wed 11-Dec-24 12:37:02

We are both rooting for Dan. His confidence has grown massively throughout the series and he comes across as a very humble truly lovely person.
I also like Chiara.
At the end of the day may the best Chef win !!!

I was disappointed that Gaston didn't go through, I think it's between Chiara and Dan, both excellent and as I'm out on Thursday evening I shall have to wait until Friday to watch the programme. This time they haven't released all the week's programmes together!

Allira Wed 11-Dec-24 11:46:32

I think he started to panic, ferry23 which is not good.

ferry23 Wed 11-Dec-24 11:38:12

I was almost pleased Gaston's parfait (was it parfait, I can't remember?) was grainy, because at least he went out on a food mistake rather than just the knocking over the saucepan thus having no sauce. And haven't we all had mishaps like that.

It's tough because if the judging were to include previous performance he would have sailed through.

Dan or Chiara to win. Although I can guarantee if one of them win I'll then sit there and think it should have been other one hmm

Allira Wed 11-Dec-24 11:05:54

Sorry - Charleygirl

The one thing I do not like about Masterchef is the excessive fingering of food.

I agree, anybody could win. I have warmed to Dan and Chiara and both are fabulous chefs.

I really enjoyed last night watching them perform in Ireland.

Me neither, Chsrlrygirl

Please use tweezers or a utensil!

Gaston woz robbed😆😍

Oh yes ☹
But not the kind of mistake a professional chef should make in a semi-final.

That would have been me - not that I would have even entered in the first place!

I don't know how the judges are going to choose between these three talented chefs. I have a soft spot for Dan as I have seen his confidence grow so much throughout the episodes. Whoever wins will progress their career but the runners-up will as well.

Allira Tue 10-Dec-24 23:22:49

Now that we know about Will can we revive this thread in Finals week?

The three finalists, are all amazing chefs and tonight's episode in Baltimore, County Cork, was excellent.

However, I couldn't help thinking that it took so long making the food look beautiful then it was gone in a few mouthfuls!

foxie48 Thu 05-Dec-24 16:30:22

I am so sorry, I didn't realise that it had not been shown yet. Huge apologies, I never watch anything live and just assumed if it was there it had already aired live. Again, I am so sorry, really not intentional. flowers

ixion Thu 05-Dec-24 15:46:23

Yes, you have indeed ruined it for me and others.
I enjoy watching it on the night - Strictly manages not to ruin it on here before it airs on the day.

Please do the same for those who watch Masterchef - ditto for GBBO, Sewing Bee, Pottery Showdown etc.

ferry23 Thu 05-Dec-24 14:34:42

Oh you're kidding! Why would you do that foxie48?

Please DO NOT post spoilers. That's ruined tonight's programme for a load of people. angry

foxie48 Thu 05-Dec-24 14:30:16

Have you watched this week's episodes? I don't want to spoil it for you but I think I may have done already!
