Christmas Eve ghost story on the BBC

Yes I love a good ghost story at Christmas time. They're usually the H R James ones which, although spooky, are a bit dated for modern times but I still love them. I agree last year's was good 👻

I love the ghost story for Christmas and have watched them for years. M R James stories are creepy. H Lovecraft does scary stories too. I'm looking forward to it. Talking Pictures have been showing some already

I still remember some of them from my teenage years. I will certainly be watching again. Glad the BBC are still keeping this tradition going.

I mentioned this on another thread, but this year it’s an adaptation of the E Nesbit short story Man-Size In Marble.
Mark Gatiss has done the writing.E Nesbit’s spooky stories are a bit hit and miss but this one’s an interesting one as it can be taken two ways when you read it, a straightforward ghostly tale or…..

Oh yes definitely lok forward to this. I'm setting my writing group a Ghost story for their next piece of writing and they always like an example of what I'm expecting them to write- many are first time writers.
