Interesting, as I haven’t seen the Bobby Ball series.

We only saw the first series. Gregory Fisher took the Bobby Ball role after Bobby Ball died.

That does sound familiar kittylester thanks! Will go and google that name.
Gregor Fisher was the second husband of the Sue Johnston character, a bit domineering, with a lovely grown up son with autism.
I really liked that series.

Diane Morgan. But I don't remember Gregor Fisher so maybe not the same programme.

No, I don't remember it but it sounds as if it could be good.
His DW might know, she is a Gransnetter 😁

Was it the Cockfields. It had Sue Johnson, Bobby Ball, Diana Morgan and someone else in. Lovely, gentle humour.

Does anyone remember the gentle comedy set on the IOW starring Gregor Fisher and the actress from the Royle Family,
Sue? It was amusing and touching at times. Her son and girlfriend used to go over for visits and misfortunes and misunderstanding ensued. It was only on tv a few years ago.
I just can’t think of the name of the programme and they don’t seem to have made a new series.
