I was thinking the same thing. I used to enjoy it even though they over stepped their job descriptions to help out the somewhat challenged police officers.
This new series leaves me cold. The stories are not gripping and the cast are uninspiring, very weak characters and acting!
Shame.

It has always been beyond believable as those doing the post mortems would not be involved in the criminal investigations in this way - but I accept that conceit and just enjoy it for what it is. I am OK with it.

I’ve always watched it but found this series particularly unbelievable, not much actual mortuary work included, I think I fell asleep briefly.

I used to like it, somehow it had the old school almost a sense of community feel. The actors carried it along and there was slivers of humour and romance.

I think when Liz Carr left it went down hill.

I do wish I had a body like Emilia Fox instead of the one I was allocated!

Am I alone in thinking Silent Witness is stretching believability to the limit? I have watched this since the early days and always loved it but the current stories and cast just leave me cold.
