Mamie

We have had this on DVD for a long time. It is a good film, with some fine performances.
I have to say the longer I live, the more annoyed I get by the narcissism, pretentiousness and selfishness of Bloomsbury.

I completely agree Mamie.. They were all wealthy, supremely self absorbed and treated people who didn't quite fit in.ie Carrington absolutely appallingly..

BTW there is an exhibition of her work on at the moment at Pallant House Chichester

Found the above film on Prime. It's about an artist called Dora Carrington. Set in the days of the bohemians, I found it delightful but quite bonkers and in parts very sad.
If you enjoy this kind of thing , one to watch.
Emma Thompson, Penelope Wilton, Rufus Sewell are in it along with lots of other well known actors.
