I have listened since the first recording on and off

So have many of us and that’s why we’re irritated by juvenile storylines.

So how do you know if the irritating ones will be on for 1 or 2 mins or the whole 15?

I'd rather just complain - maybe you find that irritating though?

Why do you people listen if the characters annoy you so much?
I have listened since the first recording on and off. As in real life, some you like, some you don’t. Normally one just avoids the unliked folk. So do the same. Characters come and go, you probably will not have to avoid the Archers for long, story lines run their course!

Lily has always been annoying- not just the script but she has a horrible voice too, unfortunately.

Freddie and Lily 🫣 I agree - they are so annoying and act like caricatures of posh people. Freddie sounds like a 12 year old girl and Lily is getting more annoying by the second. Hopefully the storylines will pick up soon.

You are quite right NotS. Lily gets more and more obnoxious and when their plan comes out the fallout will be a) boring b) far flung.

He has always had a squeaky voice - I often think it is a female character speaking.
