I just read the other thread regarding this show, and I think it confirmed my resolve not to watch the rest of the series. Too upsetting for me.

I have grandchildren, not yet teens, and worry how they will make it through their teen years with the influence of social media.

Certainly. I am lucky.

No, I hadn’t noticed. But then I live in a different place in a bubble of happiness.

Then aren't you fortunate. Not everyone can say that and often through no fault of their own.

Awful- very well acted but so depressing. As are so many series these days.

Maybe you haven't noticed that life is awful for many young boys these days with the dark side of social media and the internet all to easily available.

I watched the first episode, but found it really upsetting. I don't know if I can watch the rest.

I think it's every parent's nightmare to think of your child doing something heinous; you think you've raised them well and it's not possible for them to do something like this.

It’s a brilliant piece of acting from all involved. Thought provoking and so realistic that it takes your breath away. Directors, producers, actors just clear a spacefor BAFTAs etc.

I have seen the drama yet, but there's already a thread on this topic.

A powerful 4 part drama about a teenage stabbing and the affect it has on the various people involved.

It centres around the meaning of masculinity in todays young men’s lives and the presence of manfluencers like Andrew Tate, as well as the important job men have -particularly fathers - in providing a role model for their sons.
