The co writer and actress of the very popular Upstairs Downstairs has died after complications of dementia.

Jean Marsh also wrote at least one novel, I have one, "Iris". I enjoyed watching Upstairs Downstairs" when they were responding on TPTV a couple of years ago, I think they're all available on ITVX as well. It made me think a lot about my maternal grandmother who was in service WW1
