Has anyone been watching the latest series filmed in The Alps? I have been watching it on Catchup and thoroughly enjoying it. The pilgrims are an interesting bunch and it is so good to have some serious in - depth discussion from them . The scenery is breathtaking too. It has been on since Sunday on BBC 2 but was only 3 episodes.

I'm always interested to see how they turn out at the end and how the pilgrimage has affected them. I suspect that the "glow" wears off a bit with time, but I hope that they all gain long-term benefits.

Yes - I'm also enjoying it.
Shame it's only three episodes as it would have been interesting to hear them talk more about their individual faiths and see more of the journey.

Thank you for the heads up, Greenfinch. I enjoy those pilgrimage programmes. I'll watch it soon.
Let me know if you want to meet up in Oxford sometime. I'm moving
away soon. smile

I think they are usually longer than 3 programmes. I think they have usually been 5.

I love these programmes as I’ve also wanted to walk the Camino and have read several books about it. Not much chance now with my dodgy knees.

I think it's always an interesting addition to the Easter schedule. I have watched the whole series but this one seems a little less 'rough' than some of the others.

Always worth a watch though as it is like nothing else on TV.

I haven't seen the last episode yet so no spoilers please!

I would love to meet up in Oxford sometime Aldom. I hope you are not moving too far away.
