Like i said in my opening post stick with it and it becomes comulsive viewing

Just watched episode 4 and enjoying it, was not sure after first episode but glad I stuck with it. Going to watch episode 5 tonight

I sympathise with ITVx cutting out @granfronafar. I really want to watch this but Ive had to give up half way through episode 3. It cut at least four times each episode and the last one did it every single advert break- after the ads! I watched the same ads four times only to have it cut again. That’s when I just gave up. So sad, but not unexpected.

I finished watching it last night. It was very well acted. Sadly these things happen. Liars and manipulators are out there.

Just watched the third episode. It makes me anxious watching her.

This might seem a bit strange … in the end I felt sorry for Joe, after all he has a mental health problem (fantasist) so he deserves sympathy as much as she does. I sort of felt as if he couldn’t help himself and deep down he must be very unhappy. His life is a mess.

I enjoyed watching Fake, more than I anticipated.

Fully agree about Sheridan Smith and yes she was great as Cilla Black.

Now, I have to disagree about Sheridan Smith as I find her working in any drama to be off-putting. I really can't explain why -- and I would make an exception of her performance as Cilla Black which was admirable! It may be over-exposure: tv & film seem to do that with a new talent who gets a few good reviews -- suddenly they're in everything. Does anyone else share this over-exposure feeling?

A good drama on Netflix I recommend is Black Work.
Starring Sheridan Smith.
It’s really gripping.
No good explaining as I’m not good at that.
But anything she stars in is usually good.

It's excellent, we're up to episode 7 after ditching the abysmal offerings on Netflix. I used to work near the stunning coastal area it was filmed in and it's quite nostalgic for me.

I’ve downloaded it and hope it’s as gripping as it sounds.

Just seen that this is being shown tonight, 10pm on ITV so can watch from the start. I presumed it had been on previously but obviously not.

I watched the first episode and enjoyed it. I like the actress, Asher Keddie, who played an obstetrics doctor in Offspring, which was excellent. Have had trouble with ITVx cutting out, but will persevere as it looks such an intriguing storyline.

Yes its very good Mary, I'm giving it the thumbs up because so many series of this nature miss the mark for me, this one hasn't so far.

Having watched a couple more episodes last night, I agree with OP, I've definitely reached the gripping part now and would recommend this Australian psychological thriller and I've dumped more series than I can remember, but sticking with this one.

Yes I watched a couple of episodes last night, I think the tension was beginning to crank up towards the end of episode 2. I'll watch another episode tonight.
