I love this reality show. It's so funny at times. Complete chaos but I find it very entertaining.
I love how Stacey is as a mum to her 5 children. Jo is a great dad, helping with the children and they all seem to love him😊

I absolutely love it and I say that as someone who hates reality programmes as a rule.

They are such a happy, chaotic, loving household.

Yes, they're very funny and so natural too. There's no flies on Stacey, in a nice way.
They used to live round the corner to me before they moved to Pickle Cottage. Every few months they used to decorate the outside of the house with a theme.
I'm enjoying the programme, but it probably wouldn't be to everyone's taste.

Another here who enjoys seeing their loving chaos and what appears to be total honesty about disagreements. It’s real escapism for me.

I didn't even realise they were married until I saw an advert for their programme.
How out of touch am I!

(Who is Joe again?)

Thanks for the heads up. I usually go out of my way to avoid programmes like this but sometimes one comes along that can be entertaining, almost in a weird way. (Like the Jacob Rees-Mogg one).

I'll give it a try now.

Joe Swash was in Stenders and now does lots of reality shows. And, as shown last night, panto.

Another fan here 👍

I also enjoyed the Rees-Moggs in a weird way!

Joe and Stacey are very entertaining. The chaos needs stamina! I love watching.

With so many children and such a hectic lifestyle I think it would be helpful to have a daily nanny or a housekeeper

shysal Thu 08-May-25 09:28:37

I have just read that filming has started on a second series. I shall look forward to watching.

JRP1 Thu 08-May-25 09:38:47

I love it. So real, so genuine, so loving, so funny.
I believe Stacey has been hurt by negative comments in the press. That's sad. Carry on what you are doing Stacey and Joe. It's great.

Seen them in different things, but didnt know this programme existed.

May take a look. See what it is like.
I can be hit and miss on shows.

Definitely another fan here too. They are such a lovely family smile

GrauntyHelen Thu 08-May-25 14:44:02

Ive enjoyed the series

I really enjoy watching Stacey and Joe, as I never watched any talent shows or reality tv show I didn’t really know who Stacey was so I found the recent episode where she watched back her time BGT fascinating, not enough to make me watch an episode of any talent shows since. I do like some of the things she’s collaborated with Asda. They’re family chaos reminds me of when my 4 children were growing up.

Mojack26 Thu 08-May-25 20:05:21

Sorry cannot bear or listen to either of them! 🙉Theyre well matched. But if you enjoy it that's all that matters in the end

TiggyW Thu 08-May-25 21:29:41

Likewise Mojack26 - I can’t stand their accents! 🤣 They probably wouldn’t like mine! I’m
not sure what talent either of them has - anyone could be filmed doing everyday activities. No doubt they’re being well-paid.
Now ‘Meet the Rees-Moggs’ is a different matter! They’re on another planet! 🤣 I find their lifestyle fascinating.

I see a few comments from folk who like that twaddle. Having seen it for a few seconds when changing channels, we watched for about a minute, in disbelief that such tripe should get aired at all.

On that basis, as someone has said, you could stick a camera in quite a few houses, except that THESE people are 'celebrities'. There is a market for brainless nonsense, hence the likes of Big Brother, Love Island, Keith Lemon, etc, but we do wonder why that audience has so little to do that they can find time to sit gawping at it?!

escaped Fri 09-May-25 06:15:22

Hmmm, I think that's a bit unfair DrWatson.
Although, admittedly, I did say, it's not everyone's cup of tea!
Have you ever met these people? Have you ever worked in this business? Without going into detail, I would suggest that this twaddle , tripe, or whatever you call it, does have a place as an entertainment genre. It isn't watched by brainless gawpers, many are pretty intelligent and well educated, thank you, and have plenty of intellectual activities to pursue at other times.
You're entitled to your opinion, but there's no need to insult others' intelligence. Maybe just say, it isn't to your taste, that's fine.

shysal Fri 09-May-25 08:58:16

It was only a matter of time before rude comments came along! Why even read the thread if you don't watch.
I shall continue to gawp at this type of programme, although I am quite satisfied with my level of intelligence.
Maybe the Rees-Moggs were more appealing because of their upper crust accents!

kittylester Fri 09-May-25 09:36:34

It was a very judgmental post.
