That's for me. 😂

I haven’t watched it since 1974 (ABBA) when I left home and didn’t have a television for the first 2 years.
Not my cup of tea.

I will definitely be watching and joining in the Eurovision group chat with the rest of the family. We also have a sweepstake which I’ve never won.
It’s all OTT and the songs are mostly dire but it’s just a bit of fun.

Nice one!

This years entry is very dull and not standout.

I don't particularly like the song but the girls look nice and normal so probably won't get very far

Bukkie Fri 16-May-25 13:43:14

Graham Norton is good too and we always shed a tear when he says about raising a glass to Terry during song nine

I'm not a fan and haven't watched it for years, but I've just heard the UK's entry on the radio and I actually thought it was quite a catchy little number.

Maybe we'll get somewhere this year!

I really like it, an it really is catchy as well. The three girls can actually sing and look good.We should do well, but who knows?
Sam Ryder came second due to the sympathy vote for the mediocre Ukraine song.
Graham Norton was a good substitute for Terry Wogan.

I haven’t heard it, as I have no interest in that sort of music, but my sons think it is terrible.

MayBee70 Fri 16-May-25 10:32:51

I think our entry is awful as usual, albeit being very ear wormy. The standard of songs is very good this year, better than I can ever remember it. Really looking forward to Saturday!

You used to love it but can't bear it now. It has become too big and meaningless, except for tourism I suppose...

henetha Fri 16-May-25 10:03:38

I loved Terry Wogan too, but I want to put in a word for Graham Norton who I think also does it well.
I do hope we win, it's a great song, but I bet we won't, sadly.

kittylester Fri 16-May-25 09:57:54

I really love this year's entry - even better than Sam Ryder's song. We won't do well.

Bukkie Fri 16-May-25 09:45:03

I like this year's entry but owing to political voting I don't think we will win. I loved Terry Wogan, he was a class act. His breakfast radio show was hilarious. I used to sit in traffic on my way to work and know who was listening to his Wake up to Wogan show in nearby cars because I could see them laughing

ferry23 Fri 16-May-25 09:38:05

When Terry Wogan stopped doing it is probably when I stopped watching. It was worth the marathon session just to hear his comments - way better than the actual contest.

Cossy Fri 16-May-25 09:29:07

Haha we watched both the semi finals !

How I miss Terry Wogan!

Samsara1 Fri 16-May-25 09:26:07

I used to love this when Tery Wogan did it but not now.
