I watched a recorded programme last night. It was Guy Martin and his interesting story of the huge engineering project to search the wreckage of a Lancaster bomber which had crashed into Lake Ijsselmeer in the Netherlands 80 years previously. 4 airmen had washed ashore but 3 had never been found.
The Dutch Government funded the £1.5m project and the entire process was fascinating and emotional, helping the families of the 3 lost airmen find some peace for their loved ones.
Well worth a watch.
