Thoroughly enjoyed series 1 and 2, so looking forward to this.

Brilliant! This is such a terrific production. Mind you I'd watch anything with Christine Baranski in it.

Sounds interesting - what is it, and on which channel is it shown, please?

I see it via NOW TV but I think it's a Sky programme. I suggest you watch the the first two series first. It's really good.

It’s set in the late 1870s in New York during the American Industrial Revolution. Old money/new money rivals. Christine Baranski is brilliant, reminds me of Maggie Smith in Downton. Written by the same author. Sky Atlantic.

I read the Edith Wharton books about this era after I'd seen the Gilded Age. In those days the social rules were sooo strict!

I tend to record things and watch them later.
I watched the 1st series on Sky Atlantic because Christine Baranski was in it, but after a while, I just couldn't be fussed to watch subsequent episodes, and they were eventually deleted. I was the same with Matlock. I watched it because Kathy Bates was excellent, but after a while...

If you haven't watched Gilded Age, do give season one a go. Like Downton and Gosford Park, it was created and written by Julian Fellowes. Season 3 starts June 23 on Sky Atlantic

Thanks, I'll look it up. It sounds like my cup of tea.
