Human (new evolution documentary last night) BBC2

That's disappointing as I was planning to catch up with it over the next day or two.

I was looking forward to this but was disappointed. I couldn't engage with the presenter and found the music off-putting. I turned it off half way through.

I was also disappointed. Too much speculation by the presenter and not enough actual evidence to prove that anything she was saying could be true. It was the usual emphasise on rituals and sacrifice based on very little. A wasted opportunity.

Also disappointed, Alice Roberts did something similar called The Incredible Human Journey which I thought was very informative.

Too much speculation, music annoying, and why do we need silhouettes etc? I wish that producers would realise that we don't all have very short attention spans.

We haven’t watched it again, but the Beeb keeps showing trailers. I wish someone would tell that wretched annoying presenter that the first syllable of ‘sapiens’ rhymes with ‘sap’ - it’s not ‘homo saypiens!’

I agree- the presenter seemed more interested in flicking her hair and walking like a model across endless sand dunes than giving us real factual and scientifically credited information.

She could learn a lot from Mary Beard!

A disappointing expense by the BBC I think.
