So, I've heard of 8 of the celebrities but some of those I've literally just heard the names - don't know what they actually do.
Given my interests though, it's unlikely I would be able to identify a reality "celebrity" (I mean the Love Island type shows) a blogger/vlogger/influencer or most sports people.
Sweet Charity is set in the 60s but at the very start of the hippie years. It wasn't based on being a hippie although Charity accepts a flower from one right at the end. However the rhythm of life is most definitely not right for a samba and very difficult to dance to, I agree Maremia
I find the disconnect between the music and the dance really spoils my enjoyment of the programme. It's been really noticeable this year and I've noticed that the scores are generally higher when the music is dance appropriate. Karen, George and Lewis all had music that was nothing to do with the dance style and at the start I thought Karen and Carlos would be dancing to something from Hair. What were those costumes all about?
I've also given 5 votes to Lewis because I love to watch him dance. However, I think it was far too ambitious trying to condense a West Side Story movie number down to the size of the Strictly studio and it ended up looking messy.
I have given my votes to Lewis. I love his dancing. I should give a vote to Amber, but I just can't take to her, but that dance was fantastic. I liked Karens dance and enjoyed her energy, but the costumes made it look messy. As a couple I think Calos and Karen are lovely.
