In fairness to Chris, the worst dancer on Saturday wasn’t him, it was LaVoix, who had a terrible dance, even though he’s generally good.

That's it Casdon -he was the worst dancer overall, but didn't put up the worst dance of the night. I'm sure he's a lovely chap, but there was no discernible character or personality shining through for him and that is what gets lots of contestants through. La Voix on the other hand, makes great telly and knows exactly how to endear him/herself to an audience. Showman versus sportsman - no contest really.

On pure dancing this week it should have been La Voix and Ellie in the dance off.

But with the public vote it's about so much more than dancing.

He had boasted that he was up for the job, and had to carry it out.

I thought Chris was the weakest dancer too yet it was not a unanimous verdict.

Certainly not the weakest dancer of all the contestants, though, so it's sad to see Chris go.

It's a pity that it is a popularity contest as many potentially good dancers are eliminated and others, who may have little talent for dance, get through by public vote.

Bye bye Chris. The right person is going home. I don't know what Shirley was watching/thinking but Craig performed well as head judge for this week.

Jason Gilkison is a brilliant choreographer. His dances stand out, I think.

I think Nikita is so good with the choreography as he was before with Layton when they danced the Argentine tango.

I don’t know how you can judge one against the other when a professional dancer is up against the other contestants.
I was a real champion of Layton in the previous show, but not once did I think he should win.
