Began watching “Outrageous” last nite. What family sharings. I came from my parents both having 7 siblings. Maternal Grandfather Anthony played guitar, saxophone, mandolin, trumpet and violin. I was his favorite grandchild. He died when I was quite young. First song I ever wrote was for him.

Watching this Mitford clan is touching deep emotions for me. How each sister has her unique take on what one refers to as life. How close to one another sisters can be. Truly close.
The father speaks. They all mostly obey. The mother making nice.

Losing ones you cherish and love is the poetry of survival. Meeting people that welcome and encourage me has been what memories I hold onto dearly. My grandfather Anthony was incredibly tender and kind. Soft spoken and respectful. Rode his bicycle to work at a milk company. Loved swimming in the ocean.
I loved him like the sun. Family. Truly close.

I wish Outrageous had at least 6 seasons, I just feel kinship with all of it. Love is ecstasy when the well is bountiful. Horrifically painfully dry when the well becomes empty. Emmy Lou singing looking for water from a deeper well.

How we remain. From those we encountered.
Once upon a time, there was Delaney and Bonnie. They played music I celebrate, still. I met Bonnie after they broke up. I hadn’t known and immediately felt so sad for her. My favorite song of theirs is “Never Ending Love for You “ The feeling of notes and Delaney’s voice make me sense how sincere this song feels. So years later, I meet his daughter. She paints. I fell for her. Thought we would marry.
She was the one the song was written for.

We did not become a couple. But I have a photograph of us so happy. Oh well. So if you have someone you love, play the song for them. Sing along together.

Now I’m wondering what Helena Bonham Carter’s favorite tea is. I’ve got a never ending love for tea, s’il vous plait Helena, have one with me. Fade out to “It’s a Beautiful Morning” by the Rascals…….I thought of a new tea blend. Helena Sunglower. Pour me another ! Love and happiness to all of you !
