It was a terrible case but there were serious issues with police behaviour in that case. Some of the strategies used with regard to the initial suspect ( Colin Stagg) was questionable to say the least.

There seems to be so much about real life murders, mostly of you women, on tv lately. Some are very recent.
I can’t imagine how the families of these victims must feel and wonder if permission has been sought from them.

I've posted before that my work is in Criminal Justice and sadly, I'm often in contact with victims of serious crimes - often quite widely known, usually locally but a number of times nationally.

While some people have never talked about it with me, a lot have often been angry and distressed about social media postings, YouTube video's etc that are in the public domain and will discuss the crime / victim etc.
Very few have ever been asked.

I remember we were on holiday in Dorset when this happened and seeing it on the front pages of the tabloids in a little newsagent near our holiday let.
